Wieland is Co-Founder and CFO of MADiscover, bringing deep technical expertise and entrepreneurial experience to strategic intelligence. With a PhD in Physics and a track record as IT entrepreneur and investor, he combines analytical rigor with practical business understanding.
Beyond MADiscover, Wieland co-founded MAD Ventures, a Tyrolean incubator supporting technology startups across VR training, real-time analytics, and AI-driven solutions. His experience scaling technology ventures informs MADiscover’s approach to building scalable, reliable screening infrastructure.
Wieland’s vision: making M&A target screening a systematic, repeatable capability rather than an ad-hoc exercise.
Before his entrepreneurial ventures, Wieland built and scaled IT companies, giving him firsthand understanding of the challenges corporate development teams face when identifying strategic partners and acquisition targets.
